Leadership, batch gathering & fun.

I know it's abit late to post about this now, but haha, I'll just post.

Sunday was one super fun day that I had. Though I had to be awake at like 5.45am to attend the Leadership Course for Band Students at ACJC. Have to say thanks to Bobbi for accompanying me. Met him at 6.45am, when the leadership course is starting at 9am. We had to go to the MRT station in school uniforms and that made us look weird. Just when I was wondering where Verniecia was, she smsed me to board the train's first carriage, suay suay, a train came then we boarded it.

Bobbi and I boarded at the middle carriage then walked through the carriages to look for Verniecia and the group. LOL, how many armpits we had to crawl under. Euw, then we realised, we're on the wrong train. Immediately got off at Bugis then waited for them before boarding.

Just when we thought we were the earliest, we arrived at the MRT station to see Leslie already down there. Haha, waited for a couple more people then we went off to ACJC. Our group is the biggest. Dr. Tim Lautzenheiser's talk was interesting and it inspired me alot on the subject of leadership. We played relevant games that actually showed us what it is like to earn the motivation through various maturity levels. Bobbi almost won 10 bucks! Well, I successfully widened my comfort zone and made new friends.

I won't post much about the laws of leadership. Many people posted about it already so maybe just blog hope to theirs to take a look. What was most educational to me and most memorable was the attitude and leaders always do things more. If we're able to stretch more then we think we could, then we should make ourselves stretch more so that our juniors can improve. Lead ourselves before leading others. I feel better after listening to him.

MRT-ed to Bugis for Yoshinoya before going to Verniecia's house with Bernice to take the birthday cake and change. Then the party began when the rest of the batch arrived. Apparently, we were the earliest. Belinda's house was ENORMOUS and beautiful! Had fun barbecuing, eating and hearing ghost stories.

All these activities forms beautiful memories forever. If I had the chance to stay over, I would have enjoyed more I believed. But I'm contented that I actually get to spend the day out with the batch. Thanks for letting me have a good time. Thanks to Belinda for her kind hospitality and Bobbi for journey-ing with me through MRT and walking. Thanks to my fellow batch mates for letting me have a good time.

until then,
memories are always treasured.
